Alpenrise is one short climb a night. Your child answers about ten questions; whatever they get wrong comes back on its own after 2 nights, then 7, then 21 — and only stops coming back once they have beaten it three times.

Getting started

Tap PLACE on any subject. A short adaptive placement — about 3 minutes — gives that subject an altitude that reads in four curricula at once: NZ year levels, Cambridge IGCSE, IB MYP and Singapore secondary. After that it is ten questions a night.

Does my child need an account?

No. Alpenrise has no accounts at all — not for children, not for parents. Nothing to sign up for, nothing to remember.

Syncing between devices

If the devices are signed in to the same iCloud account, progress syncs automatically through that iCloud account. There is nothing to switch on. We run no server and never see the data — see the privacy policy.

Sync is eventually consistent, so give it a moment after a session. Everything works offline either way: the whole question bank ships inside the app.

The parent dashboard

Tap the person icon in the top-right of the app. On first use you choose a 4-digit PIN. It shows the week at a glance: nights climbed, accuracy trend, where the marks are actually going, and one specific thing worth doing next. Available in English and Chinese.

Purchases

Everything is free for 14 days. After that, one payment unlocks the full expedition permanently — every subject, every mode, for every child in the family. There is no subscription.

Changed device or reinstalled? Open the unlock screen and tap Restore purchase. Entitlement travels with your Apple ID, so nothing is lost.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us: reportaproblem.apple.com.

Deleting your data

Deleting the app removes the on-device copy. To remove the iCloud copy: iOS Settings → your name → iCloud → Manage Storage → Alpenrise.
